Airtel mala tujhyavar bharosa nay
AIRTEL मला तुझ्यावर भरोसा नाय
In April I got an SMS from Airtel saying they wanted my conformation to get 10 Gb FREE for 3 months. I accepted their offer. That was a blunder. I still have 9 Gb balance of that 10 Gb's. For the past 2 months I have not recieved any bill from Airtel on my registered email address. When I checked on their website I was shocked to see internet charges of Rs.23000.
Then started the painful process of calling their call center on 121. The call center guys kept on promising that they will resolve this and call me back. So far there have been 4 empty promises and no call backs.
This is the treatment they give to a person who has been with Airtel for a very long time. Here is a copy of the mails that I have sent to Airtel.

Subject: Absurd billing by Airtel
Hello Airtel,
I have 3 Airtel corporate post paid numbers on my name, one landline broad band connection. My wife also has an Airtel postpaid connection. In all we have 5 Airtel numbers in the family. Details as follows-
1st Corporate number - *****99211
2nd Corporate number - *****96624
3rd Corporate number - *****86624
Landline number 020 ****7020
Spouse's post paid number - *****99054
From your systems, you can very well see that I have been very regular in paying my bills on time.
Issue is regarding *****99211 -
1. I have not received bill on my registered email address for the past 2 months
2. My bill plan is for Rs.225 and has a credit limit of Rs.3600
3. I still have 9 Gb data remaining and Airtel charges me Rs.23000
Some time after April this year, I got a SMS saying I can get 10GB free per month for 3 months. I accepted the offer. (26th April - Ref # 717572238). One day probably in June, I noticed that my data balance was Zero. I called your helpdesk on 121. The lady on the other side accepted that there was some error and said that she would add 10 GB for Rs.1000. She also said that she has updated this in the "Notes" section of your ticketing tool and that this charge of Rs.1000 would be waived off in my next bill.
I never got the next bill on my registered email address (***@yahoo.co.in). I called the helpdesk again on 121 and was surprised when I was told that the bill was Rs.2100. I again asked the lady at the other end to explain. She said she would raise a complaint and someone from Airtel will call me. I got the call a few days later but the gentleman on the phone said that he will only be waiving off Rs.500. (The complaint number given to me was 78423379). I never got any bill on my registered email id but I was forced to pay Rs.2000 as my charges for the month.
Since I am not getting bills from you on my registered email address for the past 2 months, and you charge wrongly, a few days back I called 121 to find out bill charges. I found out that I have been charged Rs.23000. My credit limit is Rs.3600. My average bill for all these years has been less than Rs.500 except for the past 2 months when I called USA. Even today I can see balance of 9 GB in My Airtel app which means I have not consumed data. I called the helpdesk 121 yet again. to raise a complaint. The complaint number is 78906628. The person on the side (Deepak) said that he will call me but he never called back.
Today 26th Aug 2017, I went to your customer service center in Aundh and yet again asked for resolution of this issue. The person on the counter asked me to install the My Airtel App which I did in his presence using his Wi-Fi. . After looking at his computer screen for 40 minutes and he said that he will take this issue with his higher ups and call me later. Its been 4 days and no one has called back. Right now I am disgusted and feel that Airtel has cheated me despite being a loyal customer of more than 10 years.
I have now asked for a portability and got a call. This person promised to help resolve this issue and asked me to write to this mail id.
Update -
26th Aug - One Erik called who promised to call back again in the evening with some information. He never called back.
27th Aug - One Karan Sharma called. He said since I have not recieved any bill from Airtel for 2 months, he will send me a copy of the bill ASAP. While speaking to him , I kept on refreshing my mail client but did not receive any mail from him.
30th Aug - I got SMS's on *****99211 saying that Airtel tried to contact me. But I did not receive any call throughout the day.
31st Aug - I have sent 4 reminders to Airtel but there has been no action.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards / Namasté,
