This song has been close to my heart for a long time. I always like lyrics by Irshad Kaamil, Amitabh Bhattacharya and Neelesh Misra. The song is picturised on Kartik Aryan and Sara Ali Khan. Love Aaj Kal 2020 is another heroine centric movie by Imtiaz Ali. This movie is another version of the earlier hit Love Aaj Kal featuring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika and Rishi Kapoor.

This is the song of separation of the leading couple as try pick pieces of their life… while missing each other. Despite its many imperfections, the film has those emotional moments that Imtiaz Ali is known for.

The song is titled Mehrama (or even Meharam) meaning Companion or spouse or an intimate friend.
