Seene Mein Jalan in Election
Each time there's an election, all political parties try to attract us by identifying and addressing us by our religion or caste. It is so predictably boring. The song (actually a ghazal) by Shahryar is a poetic meditation on urban alienation, emotional numbness, and existential loneliness. I thought of converting it to the angst of a voter.
