Oh My Nation
It took us 70 years To build the structure .. One that was best among peers Then came the blind men Large in numbers and in spirits Armed with weapons modern and bits Their calls so shrill They blinded others at will Happily some gave up their eyes To calls of imagined lies Together the men .. old and new blind Destroyed everything in their bind They took down the structure Brick by brick Leaving it naked And shorn of dignity (When they died .. .. Oh yes they too died) What they left behind Before they died Were some ruins Amidst anguish and cries Some bricks here And some there Through your lifetime and mine We have to find them For the sake of our children And build it again But mind you, there will be pain
